Day at the Lake

At the lake with Aunt M and Uncle C this past week, and what perfect weather it was to be close to the water. Here is a quick glimpse of what the boys kept busy with.

Big H stayed busy fishing the sunny's out of the lake. (yes, it is a pink rod, and no, it is not his)

 So proud of his first catch of the day. As soon as he reeled it in he said, "Are we gonna eat it now?".

Did I mention so proud that we had to keep him in a wheelbarrow full of water while Big H tried to feed him breadcrumbs? He finally set Jimmy Bonnie (the fish) free when I said he was starting to swim a little sideways.

Little H on the other hand could only briefly be peeled off of the jet ski. M was even driving a little nuts with him, but he demanded more.

 Even when unoccupied, Little H felt the need to guard this machine.

We ended the weekend at the Water Carnival parade. Unfortunately, it was too hot/muggy to get many happy pictures. Big H trying not to smile. He looks so warm and this was taken pre-parade!
