(There are 7 L guys and 1 girl left to marry, for those of you keeping track.) What a great excuse for us to pull all our summer-wear out of mothballs, and packed it all up. The flight went really smoothly...the boys are old pros by now.
Besides a slight ghetto feeling about where M decided to rent a vehicle from, we were in Paradise! All of you frozen tundra folk...close your eyes and imagine the heat of the sun on your skin and the feel of grass, yes grass! on your feet. We were beyond ready to soak up as much of this weather as we could.
We hit the ground running the first day by going to the Phoenix Zoo in the morning.
Big H's favorite animal was the zebra, although lately he has been pretending to be a turtle or kangaroo. Little H's favorite was the baboons! Silly, huh? He sat right by them and talked to them through the glass while they groomed each other. He actually cried when it was time to leave. My favorite part was the giraffe exhibit. Amazing! 
There was a Little People Discovery activity area that the boys loved. Another one of my highlights was the farm area where the boys had little brushes to groom the goats. Too cute!
